I lead visual design on the rebrand of a $10M+ acquisition to smoothly integrate with Walmart's design system

My Role:

  • I was the lead designer for this project and executed the visual side for the rebranding effort. This included logo update, color palette creation, and new brand guidelines + a Figma brand library.

    Once the brand was approved, I worked with another designer to roll out new assets for the marketing team. This included emails, social assets, digital ads, and signage for events.

  • The original JoyRun visual identity used photos exclusively. Walmart’s Living Design system is illustration heavy. I developed an extensive illustration library with documentation around usage.

  • I worked with developers to update the JoyRun app flows and website to adhere to Walmart’s Living Design system.
